Lauren’s Bio

Lauren A. Keesler (b.2002, Howell, MI) is a writer, illustrator, and digital artist. She graduated with an Associate's Degree in Computer Graphics Animation from Lansing Community College (2024) and is currently working on a BFA from the University of Michigan Flint (2025). Her work media include drawing, painting, digital software, and video. Her love for animation and storytelling was what inspired her art style. In her works, she describes her characters through the use of color, facial expressions, and story theme. Lauren aims to inspire her audience that anyone can be motivated to create. 

She has assisted in designing campaign posters for LACASA’s Teen Advisory Council from 2019 to 2022. She also exhibited a piece of her work in her Creative Portfolio ‘Daydream’ exhibition in April 2025. Her work was recognized by the Greater Flint Arts Council and was shown during their exhibition in May 2025.


“Growing up in a small town of Byron, I wanted to express my artistic talent to others. I enjoyed fantasy and mythical themes, but have branched out to other subjects to challenge how far I can accomplish my creativity.”
